How it Began


It all began with Thomas Tang constantly craving his mum’s Penang style home-cooked curry noodles when studying abroad. Bored by a lack of authentic Malaysian flavours, Thomas strived to find a way to bring over his favourite curry noodles in a convenient, easy-to-cook manner.


Sky Thomas Food Industries Sdn Bhd was founded to produce the fruit of his efforts: the MyKuali Brand. MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodles, being the FIRST White Curry instant noodles ever, took the world by storm. Thanks to word-of-mouth recommendations that grew virally, demand for the high-quality, full-flavours of MyKuali Penang White Curry Noodle multiplied by almost tenfold in less than 6 months.


What began as an attempt to capture the flavours of home has now expanded into a mission to spread the hearty tastiness of traditional Malaysian flavours. However, SkyThomas Food Industries has always retained its core values of authenticity and quality. The ingredients used in MyKuali pastes and noodles are traditional and natural while combined under the strictest conditions.


It is this commitment to great values that consistently delivers the rich broth which MyKuali is famous for. That satisfying, authentic Penang experience is an element of MyKuali products that will not change, even though operations and production are constantly evolving.
